North Scituate Rezoning Initiative
The Planning Board in conjuction with the Economic Development Commission, is in the process of updating the zoning bylaw for North Scituate Village to be presented to the Spring 2021 Annual Town Meeting for approval. These changes are being proposed in anticipation of sewer coming to the district.
It is important to the Town that all parties are informed and offered the opportunity to participate in the process. Several public meetings were held back in 2019; April 24, 2019, November 20, 2019 and a public workshop on January 9, 2020. Due to unforseen circumstances the re-zoning initiative was put on hold.
At this time a plan has been laid out to reignite the North Scituate Zoning Initiative. The Planning Board and EDC invite all interesed parties to be a part of the initiative. Please see important dates below and attached documents that will be put forth for discussion.

- Planning Board Zoning Workshop - January 14, 2021
- Planning Board Public Hearing on Zoning - February 11, 2021
- Annual Town Meeting - April 12, 2021
