The Scituate Maritime Center’s mission is to serve boaters, visitors and maritime trades and businesses in and around Scituate Harbor. Situated at the Scituate Marine Park, the Maritime Center is a multi-use facility that serves as a meeting place for activities such as the Scituate Recreational Sailing Program, and meeting site for municipal groups and others.
The Marine Park serves the boating public with the 78 slip municipal marina, a public kayak ramp and public bathrooms and showers. There is a walking trail around the perimeter of the park as well as two historical buildings preserving the open space of the Marine Park and enhancing Scituate’s maritime history, along with a fully operational boatyard that service both our recreational and commercial boaters. The bathroom facilities of the Maritime Center are open to the public.
The Center is also available for private use functions and may be rented with a discount for Scituate residents.
