SCITUATE PLANNING BOARD

NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

Location:  Scituate Select Board Hearing Room, Town Hall, 600 Chief Justice Cushing Highway, Scituate, MA 02066

In accordance with MGL Ch. 40A Sections 9 and 11 and Scituate Zoning Bylaw Section 770, Site Plan Review, the Planning Board will conduct a Public Meeting on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 6:40 P.M. in the Select Board Hearing Room, Town Hall, 600 Chief Justice Cushing Highway, Scituate. The subject of the meeting is an application for a Site Plan Review for an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) submitted by R. Farwell & sons (Michael Farwell) for property located at 82 Rear Elm Street.  A 872 sq. ft. detached ADU is proposed to be legitimized legally at the property.  Property as shown on Assessor’s Map 44-3-41.  Abutters and other interested parties are invited to attend this meeting. Plans are available for review during normal business hours at the Planning Board Office, Town Hall.
