Scituate Water Treatment Plant Project
The Town of Scituate is working hard to improve the drinking water quality for all residents. Multiple drinking water projects are being pursued including the design and construction of a new drinking water treatment plant. As the Town of Scituate works to ensure safe, clean water, we realize the importance of keeping the community informed about the status of the project and ensuring they understand the decisions that are being made.
The Town will be using this webpage to distribute information about the water treatment plant project. We will be updating this webpage periodically so please check back regularly for new information. If you would like to be notified periodically for major updates, please sign up to our email list by going to the following link:
The Town and its consultants will be conducting additional surveying and field investigation on the Stearns Meadow property from late March through May 2023 as part of the design development for the new water treatment plant. This work may include the use of excavators and drill rigs. No work will be performed within 50 feet of any adjacent property line and all work will be within the hours of 7am and 5pm.
If you have any questions, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
And while we are putting new information out here, we haven’t stopped listening to you. The input of Town residents is critically important to our process and we appreciate the community input received thus far. If you have any comments, questions, or concerns please contact Sean Anderson, Water Superintendent. We look forward to working with the community on this project as we move forward.
