Scituate Gives Thanks To Our Dunes

On Saturday, approximately 80 volunteers joined forces at Peggotty Beach for “Give Thanks To Our Dunes”. We planted 10,000 culms of American beachgrass on the dunes adjacent to the path thereby increasing the resiliency of this important habitat. Thank you to all of the amazing volunteers, the North and South Rivers Watershed Association, the Scituate Beach Commission, and the Town of Scituate for making it happen.
