2024 Election Information and Schedule

READ THIS IMPORTANT ELECTION INFORMATION!

Please see attached Election/Town Meeting Schedule for 2024.  This will be a very busy election year.  Your census will be mailed out in December.  Please sign and return it promptly so that your voter registration status remains current.  You can not make any change to any voter using the census form. Your voter status is indicated in the first column on the census.

Please note that the SOC office will be mailing all voters a VOTE BY MAIL form.  Only return it to this office if you would like a ballot mailed to you. The form will have your party listed at the top.  Please  sign the form and include an email or phone number on the form. If choosing all elections on the form please indicate which political party's ballot you would like if you are registered as "Unenrolled" (formerly "Independent") or enrolled in a "Political Designation". If you are registered as a Democrat or Republican or Libertarian, you can only receive that party's ballot.

If you intend to vote early in person during the early voting period here at Town Hall or at the polls on election day, do not mail the form to this office.

If you need to make changes to your voter registration (address, party, name, etc.), you may do so in person at the Town Clerk's office or online at registertovotema.com prior to the deadline for each election listed on the election schedule.

Absentee ballots will be available for voting in the Town Clerk's office by January 26th,  if you are going to be away and would like to vote before you leave.
