The Mission of the Scituate/West Cork Sister City Committee is to promote partnerships; foster an understanding of cultures and traditions; facilitate exchange programs for students and adults; encourage tourism; share advances in business and education; and provide activities that will be of mutual benefit to Scituate and West Cork.

7. September 28 Catherine Shannon talk on the Brig St John Scituate Harbor Community Center FREE This is the final of 4 Lectures Catherine has given at no charge to us - should we give her something? What?
8. Ancient Order of Hibernians Brig Saint John Memorial Mass, Recpetion, and Dedication of new granite bench graveside ceremony and Laying of Wreath at Celtic Cross October 6 Saint Anthony’s Church in Cohasset. Speaker will be the man who spoke at the Dedication of the Deer Island Famine Memorial
9. Scituate/West Cork Bracelet - we’ve ordered 10 at a great price- will hold for gifts VIPS will get the Pendant/Tie Tack other will get this - need to inquire if coordinates could be made into tie tack/lapel pin
10. Possible October visitation of West Cork Delegation led by Cllr Christopher O’Sullivan Mayor of the County of Cork.
I will have them for dinner one night - the committee is also invited
We need to tentatively plan other activities - at little or no cost
11. Foreign Film Festival dates - movies - this will be a major source of our operating budget
