Mission Statement
The Mission of the Scituate/West Cork Sister City Committee is to promote partnerships; foster an understanding of cultures and traditions; facilitate exchange programs for students and adults; encourage tourism; share advances in business and education; and provide activities that will be of mutual benefit to Scituate and West Cork.

4. The Senior Center Irish Tea and Irish Bread will be on “Lucky Friday the 13th” at 11:30 at the Senior Center.
5. Annual Corned Beef Dinner on March 11th
6. Foreign Movie Festival continues at St Mary’s Hall on March 12 with Dancing at Lugnasa and a French film on March 19
7. Student exchange update
8. Irish Heritage Trail - update and May 20 volunteer opportunities. Knowing it is a work day and realizing several on the committee have to work, we need a realistic estimate of who, from the committee, will be in attendance.
9. Irish elections saw two Cork County Councillors elected TD’s - Chris and Holly. Paul Hayes was the last counted out.
10. We will have a float in this year’s St Patrick’s Parade.
