Tropical Storm Elsa update

Good afternoon,

Not much has changed from our advisory we sent out yesterday (below) for Tropical Storm Elsa. We are under a tropical storm warning as the forecast brings the storm track right over SE Massachusetts. The initial winds will be from the southeast and turn strong northwest as the storm passes to our north.

We are also under a tornado watch as these tropical systems can produce tornadic activity with little warning. See the below tornado guideline for what to do if a tornado hits our area.

Please take the time this afternoon to secure your homes and boats as the storm is expected to ramp up quickly Friday morning. Be prepared for scattered power outages. Keep your electronics charged and consider making extra ice tonight if you do not have a generator.
