TOWN OF SCITUATE COOLING CENTERS 7/20 and 7/21/19

Extreme Heat

With the projected high heat index expected over this weekend, the Town of Scituate will be opening the following locations as cooling centers on Saturday and Sunday:

Saturday, 7/20/19 Scituate Town Library, 85 Branch Street, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Saturday, 7/20/19 Scituate Harbor Community Building, 44 Jericho Road 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Sunday, 7/21/19 Scituate Harbor Community Building, 44 Jericho Road 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.

The Sloop is available for transportation to both locations.  If a resident needs elderly transport and is unable to use the Sloop, you can contact the non-emergency line at the Public Safety Complex 781-545-1212.  If you have a medical emergency please dial 911.
