Scituate West Cork Sister City Committee Signs Twinning Agreement

Members of the Scituate West Cork Sister City Committee; Brenda O’Connor, Chair, Pat Jacquart, and Betty Tufankjian, along with Jaime Gilmore of the Advisory Board, visited West Cork, Ireland  last week to sign a twinning agreement with the Cork County Council Municipal District of West Cork.  This relationship will explore opportunities in tourism, education, culinary, and cultural arts and will offer opportunities for mutual economic development in both regions.   Special thanks to Cllr. Declan Hurley, Mayor of Cork County, Ireland and Cllr.
