Storm Update 4: 2:15 PM

As of 2:15 pm, approximately 5,400 customers in Scituate served by National Grid have had their power restored. Complete power restoration may take up to 48 hours from today. Numerous National Grid crews and contractor crews are actively involved in restoring power.

The Town of Scituate will issue another storm update by 6 pm tonight.

Jenkins, Hatherly, and Wampatuck Elementary Schools presently have electricity.

First Parish East of Grove stretch is presently inaccessible to traffic. Crews are currently on the scene. Residents are urged to exercise additional caution in this area.

Scituate Town Library:

Tuesday, 12/19: 9 am - 9 pm

Wednesday, 12/20: 9 am - 9 pm

 

Scituate Senior Center:

Tuesday, 12/19: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm

Wednesday, 12/20: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

 

Scituate Town Hall:

Tuesday, 12/19: 8:30 am - 7:30 pm

Wednesday, 12/20: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

The Scituate Transfer Station will continue operations until 5 pm today. The Transfer Station will be open from 8 am to 3:30 pm on Wednesday, 12/20.
