SCITUATE EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY

Storm Update 6: 7:48 PM

As of 7:48 pm, approximately 90% of Scituate customers served by National Grid have had power restored. Complete power restoration may take up to 48 hours from today. Teams from National Grid and contracted crews are diligently working through the night to restore power.

There have been reported cases in surrounding towns where tree cleanup crews falsely claimed affiliation with National Grid and sought payment for their services. If anyone approaches you asserting they are with National Grid asking for payment, please contact National Grid at 1-800-465-1212 or the Scituate Police Department at 781-545-1212.
