Hydrant Flushing

The Scituate Water Department will start hydrant flushing on Monday, April 8, 2024.

• Starting Point: Maple Street
• Route: Maple Street to Old Oaken Bucket to Rotary
• Afterward: Side streets and neighborhoods off Old Oaken Bucket

Please note that this maintenance may cause temporary changes, including potential brown water in both the flushing zone and beyond.

Here's what you need to know:

• Brown Water Alert: Keep an eye out for discoloration
• Precautionary Measures: Allow the water to flush before usage, and double-check before starting laundry.
