HIGH TIDE ALERT- Wednesday, April 10, 2024 – 10AM

The Town of Scituate anticipates high tides starting on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, shortly before midnight and persisting through Friday early morning, April 11, 2024. These high tides may lead to splashovers on coastal roads and potential coastal flooding. Areas susceptible to flooding, such as Cole Parkway, Front Street, parts of Turner Road, Edward Foster Road, Cedar Point, and Central Ave in Humarock, could be particularly at risk.
Residents of Scituate are strongly advised to take the following precautions:
- Refrain from parking on Cole Parkway and the Town Pier immediately prior to and after the period of high tide.
- Avoid driving through flooded areas to prevent potential vehicle damage and risks to nearby properties from vehicle wakes.
- Adhere to safety measures such as respecting sawhorses placed in specific areas.
