Flushing Update

The Scituate Water Department will commence flushing operations tomorrow, April 18, 2024, starting at the 3A Water Plant and proceeding to First Parish in the morning. Flushing will then continue along First Parish as scheduled, with side streets being flushed along the route.

Please note that this maintenance may cause temporary changes, including potential brown water in both the flushing zone and beyond.

• Brown Water Alert: Keep an eye out for discoloration
• Reduced Pressure: You might encounter temporary decreases in water pressure
• Precautionary Measures: Allow the water to flush before usage, and double-check before starting laundry
