Announcement of Board & Committee Openings

Have you ever considered serving on a town board or committee? If so, now is your chance!

The Select Board’s office is accepting applications for openings on the following Boards at this time:

• Animal Control Board
• Beautification Commission
• Commission on Disabilities
• Council on Aging
• Public Building Commission
• Scituate Cultural Council
• Water Resources Commission

Applications are due to the Select Board’s office by Friday, May 31, 2024. Applications are available in the Select Board’s office or on the Town of Scituate website https://www.scituatema.gov/sites/g/files/vyhlif11836/f/uploads/committee_commission_application_revised_202405.pdf

Applicants will be invited to interview with the Select Board in June/July. After interviews are completed, appointments will be made by the Select Board.
