Memorial Day Parade and Ceremonies

The Scituate Department of Veteran Services and the Town of Scituate will observe Memorial Day on Monday, May 27, 2024, with a parade and ceremonies.
Details:
- 8 AM: A ceremony will commence with a flotilla departing from the Scituate Harbormaster's Office at 100 Cole Parkway to remember those "Lost at Sea." For any inquiries, please contact Commander@scituatepost144.org
- 10 AM: The parade will assemble at Scituate Town Hall, 600 Chief Justice Cushing Highway, proceeding down First Parish to Lawson Common at 10:30 AM.
- 11:15 AM: A ceremony at Lawson Common
In case of inclement weather, the Lawson Common ceremony will be held at the Scituate Council on Aging at 11 AM.
Handicap parking and on-site accommodations will be available at the east end of the Common. For parking assistance, please approach any uniformed police officer present at the event.
