Friends of the Scituate Town Library
The Friends of the Scituate Town Library is a volunteer, nonprofit organization, advocating a strong public library system and actively supporting Scituate Town Library. The Friends believes strongly that libraries are our windows to the world and need all the attention and support we can give.
The Friends raise money through donations and the sale of used books at their in-house bookstore. These funds help support a wide array of library programs and events for all ages, including the summer reading and concert series, game clubs, Music with Mamasteph, teen advisory board, guest author series, story times, children's room toys, book clubs, and much more.
The Museum Pass Program is funded by the group as well. This program provides discount passes to a wide variety of area museums. Find more information on Museum Passes here.
All library users are invited to become members of the Friends of the Scituate Town Library. Membership forms are available at the library or click here for one. Donations to the Friends of the Scituate Town Library are always welcome.
