Meeting Minutes of the Scituate Community Television Advisory Board

Members Present: Ed Fiddler, Mike Davis, Tracy Kiddie, Rich Long, Al Bangert, John Roser

1. Meeting called to order by Tracy Kiddie, Chairwoman.
2. Motion made to accept the Agenda by Tracy Kiddie. Seconded by Mike Davis. Unanimous vote to accept.
3. Motion made to accept Minutes of September 25, 2014 meeting by Tracy Kiddie. Seconded by Mike Davis. Unanimous vote to accept.
4. Update on SCTV studio activity by Executive Director John Roser:  
   1. John reviewed the status of the FY15 budget and the plans for the FY16 budget preparation
   2. John updated the Committee on technical issues with the local channels.
   3. Numerous local production activities are underway:  Scituate 360, Scituate Style Show, student projects, Election Day coverage, Selectmen candidate forums, three new Public Safety videos with tours of the Police and Fire stations and visits to Marshfield and Hanover.
   4. The Committee discussed football and other sports coverage.  The Committee agreed that the sports Booster Clubs should provide volunteers to video the games and get them to the studio for airing.  This is all in the spirit of providing community access to SCTV.
5. Survey:  The Committee discussed the survey and how to get it to the viewers so that they can provide input.
6. New Business:  Tracy Kiddie nominated Mike Davis and Al Bangert to serve as Co-Chairmen of the SCTV Advisory Committee.  Unanimous vote to accept.
7. Adjournment:  Meeting was adjourned at 6:45.  Next meeting to be held in December at a date t.b.d.
