Water Alert

There has been a fire at Go Green which will disrupt water service in the area for the next 12 to 16 hours. The Scituate Fire Department is on scene working with the owner to extinguish the mulch piles; however there may be some pressure loss and/or discoloration in the water service until the fire is controlled. The DPW is doing maintenance to carbon filters at the water treatment plant which is offline.  Residents are urged to take necessary precautions conserving water and checking for discoloration. Allow the water to flush before using and check before doing laundry.  We apologize for the inconvenience.
