Traffic Alert

Rotary at Rt. 3A

The Town of Scituate has been notified that MassDot will be paving the Rotary on 3A. Traffic plans will detour all local traffic from Rt. 3A. Please expect longer delays if you are traveling in these areas during the following construction times:

All work will be from 8pm until 5AM (night), weather dependent

  • Sunday May 1st Milling Operations
  • Wednesday and Thursday May 4th and 5th castings will be raised and structures rebuilt.
  • Sunday May 8th finish paving

RT. 3A Between the Rotary and Doctor’s Hill

The Town of Scituate Water Division has scheduled boring work for soil analysis on Chief Justice Cushing Highway.  The work will run from May 4th through May 6th between the rotary and Doctor’s Hill Drive.  Residents may want to avoid the area as there will be minor traffic disruptions.  This work is being done in preparation of a water main replacement project.  The Town thanks drivers for their patience during this important work to improve our water system.
