As of 9 am, approximately 2,600 residents in Scituate served by National Grid have had their power restored. Complete power restoration may take up to 48 hours from today. Numerous National Grid crews and contractor crews are actively involved in restoring power.

Mann Lot Road, Driftway, and the stretch of First Parish East of Grove are presently inaccessible to traffic. Residents are urged to exercise additional caution in these areas.

For warming and device-charging facilities, residents can utilize the following town locations:

Scituate Town Library:

Tuesday, 12/19: 9 am - 9 pm                                                                                                                 

Scituate Senior Center:                                                               

Tuesday, 12/19: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm

Scituate Town Hall:

Tuesday, 12/19: 8:30 am – 7:30 pm

The transfer station will not be open on Tuesday, 12/19, as it is experiencing a power outage.
