  • Heavy rain, starting Tuesday night through the Wednesday morning commute, ranging from 1.5 to 2 inches.
  • High wind gusts up to 60 mph are expected from Tuesday night through the Wednesday morning commute, which could cause downed lines and power outages.
  • Possibility of splash over / localized flooding on Wednesday morning, dependent on wind and tide conditions.

To prepare for the impending storm:

  • Ensure you have gas for your generator and confirm that the generator is in proper working condition. Operate generators outdoors and away from living spaces.
  • Prioritize charging your devices to ensure they are powered and ready for use when needed.
  • Due to the recent rainfall and projected rain expected Tuesday. Residents should inspect their sump pumps, check downspouts, and ensure that catch basins in the area are not blocked.
