National Grid crews will never request money from residents. There have been reported cases in surrounding towns where tree cleanup crews falsely claimed affiliation with National Grid and sought payment for their services. If anyone approaches you asserting they are with National Grid asking for payment, please contact National Grid at 1-800-465-1212 or the Scituate Police Department at 781-545-1212.

Please check in on your elderly or disabled neighbors, especially during these challenging circumstances. Extend a helping hand by ensuring they are safe and comfortable and have access to any assistance they might need.

For any emergency situation and downed wires, please call 911 or 781-545-1212 for non-emergencies. Please contact National Grid at 1-800-465-1212 to report an outage. Ensure generators are operated outdoors and away from living spaces.
