Scituate Community Choice Electricity - Electricity Disclosure Label Updated

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Scituate Community Choice Electricity - Electricity Disclosure Label Updated

Scituate, MA  August 7, 2023 - Our Town’s electricity supply program Scituate Community Choice Electricity launched in March 2023 to provide new electricity supply options to our residents in businesses. Any electricity customer in Scituate is eligible to join the program at any time! If you participate in our program you will see “ScituateCommChoiceElec-Direct” listed as the “Supplier” in the Supply section of your National Grid bill.

As part of the Town’s electricity agreement, our electricity supplier provides a label, called the Electricity Disclosure Label, that describes the fuel sources and emissions characteristics of our supply. The State of Massachusetts requires that the label be updated quarterly, and the most recent Label is always available on the Program website: electricity.scituatema.gov

Participating in Scituate Community Choice Electricity does not change your utility company - National Grid continues to provide Delivery services to our Town, including outage repair, storm response, and they continue to handle all electricity billing.

If you have any question about the program, please contact us using one of the methods on our support page here: electricity.scituatema.gov
