Road Work Update

Cedarwood Road Neighborhood

The contractor has completed the base course of pavement on the Cedarwood, Utility Road neighborhood. The contractor will be returning to raise the water gates and castings before placing the final course of pavement.

Country Way North

The contractor will be paving Country Way from Booth Hill Road to Mann Lot Road on Wednesday September 7.

Brook Road & Tilden Road

The contractor will begin roadway milling and paving of Brook Street and Tilden Road on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 7 am. The roadway will be open to local traffic only. All other vehicles should use an alternate route during work hours. Work is expected to last 5-7 days weather permitting.

Glades Road / Baileys Causeway

Following Country Way, the contractor will be milling and paving a portion of Glades Road and Bailey’s Causeway Road.

The Scituate Department of Public Works appreciates your patience as we continue with the 2022 paving season. Weekly updates and message boards will be used to provide timely updates on the projects as the schedules develops. All work is weather permitting.
