Flushing/Brown Water Alert

The Town will be flushing water lines starting Monday April 11th until Thursday April 14th from 9 AM – 4:30 PM. This is part of the ongoing maintenance of the water system. This work will reroute the flow of water through town and could create Brown Water in areas outside of this zone of influence. The following streets will be targeted for this round of flushing:
- Maple Street Water Storage Tank to Old Oaken Bucket Road
- Old Oaken Bucket Road to the Rotary (3A)
- Tack Factory Pond Drive
- Marylin Road
- Dunster Lane
- Woodworth Lane
- Satuit Trail
- Sassamon Road
- Metacomett Road
- Sherman Drive
- Old Forge Road
Residents are urged to take necessary precautions and check for discoloration. Allow the water to flush before using and check before doing laundry. We apologize for the inconvenience.
