Announcement of Current Board & Committee Openings

The Town of Scituate still has openings on some very important Boards & Committees along with a couple of new Committees.

The Select Board’s office is accepting applications and have openings on the following Boards at this time: 

  • Board of Health
  • By Law Review Committee (New Committee)
  • Council on Aging
  • Public Building Commission
  • Recreation Commission
  • Scituate Bicycle Committee (New Committee)
  • Shellfish Advisory Committee
  • Veterans Advisory Council
  • Widows Walk
  • Zoning Board of Appeals

Applications are due to the Select Board’s office by July 31, 2023.  Applications are available in the Select Board’s office or on the Town of Scituate website: Board Application

Applicants will be invited to interview with the Select Board in August/September.  After interviews are completed, appointments will be made by the Select Board.
