A Message from Scituate Emergency Management

SCITUATE EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY

We wanted to give everyone a heads up that we are going to experience astronomical high tides, today through Wednesday of next week. The high tide today was 9:43am (11.7’) and the tides will advance approximately 50 minutes each day. The highest tides will be over the weekend during the day, so be aware of parking in the Mill Wharf & Cole Parkway lots mid to late morning as you support your local shops and restaurants.

The forecast calls for a very windy and warm Monday as anticipated strong southwest winds could cause some tree and limb damage leading to isolated power outages. Looking ahead to Wednesday we may experience a rain/snow mix with heavier snow inland.

We want to give a shout out to our Scituate High School football team going to Gillette Stadium this evening to play Duxbury in the Division #4 Super bowl at 7:30pm. Go Sailors!

Be well & stay safe!
