Recyclopedia-Beyond the Bin

If your unsure whether the material belongs in the recycling bin or the trash, the Department of Environmental Protection has created "Recyclopedia" to help answer your questions. This interactive website allows you to enter a product into the search bar and it will advise you as to where to place the item, Recycle or Trash. Beyond the Bin - Use it to find out how and where to donate or recycle items that can’t go in your home recycling bin and are too good to trash. Choose from the material categories listed or enter a keyword and your location, then choose an option for drop-off, pick-up, mail-in and hit search!
