Ballots will arrive in early May, so please send your request form to this office ASAP if you would like the ballot mailed. Forms are also available at the entrance of Town Hall.

PLEASE READ THE  FOLLOWING FOR MORE IMPORTANT TOWN ELECTION INFORMATION

The Annual Town Election will be held on June 13, 2020 at the SHS gym.  The polls are required by law to be open.  Poll hours will be 9 AM - 2 PM at the SHS gym and the warrant will be posted in accordance to MGL.  In addition to “Absentee Voting”, “Early Voting” will be available by mail only for this 2020 Annual Town Election, which is strongly recommended.   As long as Town Hall is closed to the public during the COVID 19 Pandemic, absentee voting will be done by mail only. Only a registered voter may request that the “Early Voting” ballot be mailed.  A family member may fill out the Absentee Ballot Request form to send a ballot to another family member who is a registered voter unable to vote in person on election day.  One or the other of these request forms are necessary to receive a ballot by mail.  Please return the signed request form as soon as possible by dropping off at Town Hall (through the mail slot), emailed to the Town Clerk or mailed.  Please allow time for mailing. When you receive your ballot please fill it out, you must sign the small ballot envelope, place your ballot in the small envelope, seal it with tape and place all in the white envelope and return by mail or drop it off in the mail slot at Town Hall.  Ballots must be received before the close of polls on election day at the polling location (SHS gym 606 CJC Way).

 The last day to request an Early Voting ballot or Absentee Ballot is Noon on Friday, June 12, 2020.

The last day to register to vote (if you are not already registered), is June 3, 2020 2PM-4PM and 7 PM-8PM.  You can register online through the Secretary of the Commonwealth’s Office (www.registertovote.com).  Forms are available at Town Hall at the main entrance (in the plastic sleeve under the black mail box).  Place them in the mail slot (please do not lick envelopes to seal) when completed and we will mail you an acknowledgement of receipt.
