April 5, 2012 Selectman Rick Murray and Harbormaster Mark Patterson greet Lt. Gov. Tim Murray at the Scituate Maritime Center during the Seaport Advisory Council awarding of $320,000.00 to the Town to refurbish the Commercial Town Pier.
April 5, 2012 Representative Jim Cantwell, Howie Kreuztberg (former Waterways Commission Chairman), Waterways Commission Chairman John Murphy, Harbormaster Mark Patterson, Lt.Gov. Tim Murray, Selectman Rick Murray and Town Administrator Patricia Vinchesi at the Scituate Maritime Center. Scituate hosted the annual Seaport Advisory Council event.
April 2012 – Installing the Cole Parkway and Scituate Marine Park Marina's – It's a dirty job, but the Harbormaster staff is up to the task: Assistant Harbormaster's Leo Rossette, Mike Bearce, Ed Gibbons, Bob Greek and Harbormaster Mark Patterson.

June 2012: Assistant Harbormaster Joe Noble volunteered at the Wampatuck Elementary Schools' Science Day – Marine Safety & Science. The kids (and Joe) loved it!
July 2012: Continued marina chain maintenance by Harbormaster Crew – George Anderson, Diver Bob Greek and Assistance Hm Mike Neil at the Cole Parkway Marina.
