Town of Scituate Total Water Ban Effective Immediately

The Scituate Water Division is implementing a Total Ban on all nonessential outdoor water use starting today, June 29, 2020. This action is a proactive response to preserve our water supply for the late summer and fall. These restrictions will be revisited if conditions change with our water supply or weather patterns. This Total Ban includes no car washing, no filling of pools, no irrigation of lawns via automatic irrigation system as well as any lawn sprinklers. Watering of flowers, gardens, plants, and lawns may be done by hand-held hose only before 9am and after 5 pm. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
