The Commonwealth of Massachusetts has announced that Phase 2 of the state’s COVID – 19 vaccination plan will begin on Monday, February 1, 2021. Residents of the Commonwealth 75 years of age or older will be eligible to get vaccinated starting Monday, February 1, 2021. Residents wishing to sign-up for a vaccine may register starting tomorrow, Wednesday, January 27, 2021. Interested individuals can go to www.mass.gov/covidvaccinemap where they can access an interactive map of vaccination sites. Choose a site that is available to you, click on the link and begin the registration process. If you do not see a site near you, check back frequently as sites are being added on an on-going basis. A local vaccination clinic in Scituate will be dependent on the availability of a vaccine being distributed by the Department of Public Health to local health departments. If you are unable to access a computer or sign-up on line, contact the Scituate Council on Aging at 781-545-8722.

Following residents of 75 years of older, residents 65 years of age or older and residents with two or more comorbidities will be eligible for vaccination. We will announce the opening of this portion of phase 2 when it is released.
