Cedar Point Roadwork

Lighthouse Road, Rebecca Road and a portion of Turner Road
road work

The contractor will be returning to the Cedar Point Area beginning on Thursday September 9, 2021 at 7 AM to begin the roadway reconstruction portion of the project. The pavement will be pulverized and the roadway reshaped. Please remove any vehicles or trailers that may be parked along the edges of the roadway. The full depth reclamation process will grind up the existing pavement layers in place, blending the asphalt layers with any sub-layers to produce an improved, stabilized base. The full depth reclamation process is expected to last 2 days and will impact Lighthouse Road, Rebecca Road and small portions of Turner Road and Jericho Road at the intersection. The roadways listed will be open to residents within the project site ONLY. Following the pulverization, the roadway will be will be reshaped which is expected to last 5 days. Motorists are urged to use caution as the roadway will be constantly changing as it is reshaped. Once reshaped the binder coarse of asphalt will be placed. Crews will then install frames and covers on the structures, repair any concrete walks and driveways and make drainage repairs impacted during the installation of the sewer service.  Motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians are urged to seek alternate routes and avoid the area during construction hours. Construction is expected to last 4-6 weeks.
