Salt & Sand Mixture for Residents

The DPW has set up a sand and salt mixture located in the back of Town Hall (across from tower) for RESIDENTS.
Please note that this area will be monitored and that contractors are not allowed to take this mix it is for residents only.
The salt in the salt shed (located at the Highway Barn) is treated with Molasses to improve the sticking characteristic on the roads.
If this salt is used on driveways it could track Molasses into the house and potentially cause an issue with flooring.
