We offer a variety of programs at the Senior Center located at 27 Brook Street as well as some programs offsite. We offer regular exercise classes from gentle, low impact cardio and stretching classes to floor and chair yoga as well as a special Men's yoga class and our popular Balance 4Life, all offered multiple times each week. We offer a 24-week Tai Chi for Healthy Aging program which improves balance, strength, posture and blood pressure.
Recreational program opportunities include pickleball and badminton at the Jenkins Elementary School gym, as well as walking groups and our new Nordic Walking pole program.
Other classes and groups include watercolor painting, craft activities, movies, local history and special interest presentations, card and board games, a knitting group, monthly Men's breakfast, seasonal lunches and special events.
