Scituate Architecture 1880-1920

March 11, 18, 25, and April 1, 8, and 15  Tuition $20

This class will survey some documented Scituate houses of the era.  We will utilize material on the MACRIS website, but we will also search the town for homes not yet in that database.  In some situations we will look to houses outside Scituate for comparisons, but our emphasis will be homes in Scituate. In instances where we uncover interesting history of the residents or builders, we will push beyond the home's architecture and glimpse those colorful, interesting lives.
