Scituate Harbor is a true mixed use village with a large number of residential condominiums, apartments, and traditional neighborhoods surrounding Front Street with spectacular views of the Harbor and within an easy walking distance to all the amenities. In addition to food and entertainment, there are several maritime related businesses including charter and commercial fishing, recreational boating, and scientific research that take advantage of Scituate’s large and well protected harbor. The US Coast Guard and NOAA are both stationed in the harbor and Scituate is a very popular destination for a variety of water sports and activities.

Scituate Harbor has been designated a Cultural District by the Massachusetts Cultural Council and hosts several civic events throughout the year that attract thousands of residents and visitors like. Village gatherings such as Heritage Days, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, First Fridays, Classic Cars on Cole Parkway, Harbor Art Walk, Halloween in the Harbor, Holidays in the Harbor, and Restaurant Week are very popular with food and live entertainment.
