Cork County Friendship Pact Committee

At the February 21, 2017 Board of Selectmen meeting, the board voted to approve the formation of the Cork County Friendship Pact Committee. 

The Committee shall provide input and suggestions for a variety of current and foreseeable community, civic, cultural, educational and other activities that expand its partnership with Cork County, West Cork Municipal District, Ireland.

The Committee shall serve as an advisory body to the Board of Selectmen to provide feedback, input, and guidance as well as function as a conduit for the Town to solicit, create, plan and implement activities, programs and exchanges that expand and broaden its relationship with Cork County and its environs.

The Selectmen’s office is accepting applications for anyone interested in serving on this committee. Eight (8) At-Large members will be appointed by the Board of Selectmen.
